Brand Names or Generic Stuff
When you go to the supermarket to fill your cart with provisions for months ahead, you most likely know in advance what to purchase. But for many items you just don't bother to remember what exactly was the name of the brand you got last time. Quite logical – if the brand was not something special, why bother with remembering it? In any case, there are so many famous brands that are not better than their competitors. There are many brands that sell simply because of aggressive advertising. The quality of the product itself is not something special but the TV commercials are and because of this you are convinced that you are buying quality. What an illusion! Very often generic stuff is much better than its branded competitors or at least is the same quality as them but costs less.
